Production – Screen PrintingThe Production – Screen Printing role is responsible for a wide range of responsibilities at Interstate Graphics including creating screens for screen printing equipment & running screen printing equipment. This specific role will start focused on creating screens for the screen-printing departments.One of the foundations of Interstate Graphics is our employee's ability to be flexible and assist each other to meet our company goals, serve our customers and each other. Although our job descriptions define most of our functions all employees are expected to lend a hand when events arise.Essential FunctionsRun screen printing machines - M&R Insignia and SakuraiCreate ScreensKeep screen and tools organized and in proper locationsMove material from warehouse to production or packingRepair of machines as neededEnsure their area is clean and organizedWork with team members to complete projects5S or lean projects as assignedUtilize ERP to manage job workflowSecondary FunctionBe direct backup for team members as neededOther duties as assignedRequirementsEducation and ExperienceAbility to manage internal partnersInitiative & follow-throughAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneouslyConflict Management/ComposureM&R Insignia - 3 years preferredSakurai - 3 years preferredManufacturing machine experience - 5 yearsSkills (Language, Mathematical, Reasoning, Other)Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for resultsAbility to close out jobs in ERPWillingness to learn new skillsWorking Conditions/Physical DemandsGeneral production – Lifting, bending, standing, sitting, walking, twisting, hand grasping, driving/foot control, pushing, pulling, talking/hearing, reach above shoulderComputer, telephone, packing and assembly equipmentRunning screen printing machines and repair
